We have access to several specialised veterinary pathology laboratories, so problems with your pet may be detected more easily, and so can be treated sooner. This can save you money on expensive treatment once the problem becomes more serious, as we can treat and hopefully prevent the problem before it takes hold.

Your pet may need a special diet to ensure all-round well-being. We can advise you on dietary requirements for your pet, and we can provide you with the supplies you need.

At White Lodge Vets, we have a state-of-the-art digital X-ray and ultrasound scanner. This means that we can search for problems inside your pet, such as broken bones and other ailments.

Fleas can be picked up from almost anywhere outside. If animals go wandering through long grass, the likelihood of picking up fleas and ticks is high. With a simple treatment, your pet can be protected from fleas, ticks and other parasites. Topical prescription treatments, oral medicines, and repellant collars.  Just ask for advice.

Fleas and ticks can also be living in your own home. We can provide treatments for your home to prevent infestation, and transmission to you and your family.

We provide general health checks for nearly all small animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, mice, birds and many more.

We offer home visits to your pet by arrangement. Please note that it is often better to bring your pet to the surgery where we have all the facilities, equipment and back-up we need.

Microchipping means lifetime registration for your pet. A chip gives you peace of mind. Pets can run away or go missing, but with a microchip you can make sure that if your pets get lost or stray, they can quickly be identified and returned home safely.

Neutering removes the source of hormones which adversely affect your pets behaviour. Males running away and getting into fights can all be reduced if he is Neutered. Neutering females prevents unwanted pregnancies.

Pet Passports allow you to take your pet on holiday to other countries. Your pet can enjoy holidays too!

We can supply medicines and treatments for nearly any type of ailment of your pet.  Written prescriptions are available on request for a nominal charge, if you wish to obtain your medicines from other pharmacies.

Your pet can pick up worms from many sources. Even chewing another dog's toy can transmit worms, and cat's may eat a variety of objects containing worms. Some worms can be very dangerous to your pet, and carry the risk of danger to your family.

We can treat your pet for worms quickly and easily, reducing the likelihood of problems caused by worms.
